The Harbingers: Miguel Ravenna Auditions
Audacious Machine Creative is accepting auditions for the role of MIGUEL RAVENNA in The Harbingers, an audio fiction podcast serial written by Gabriel Urbina and directed by Jeffrey Nils Gardner.
Our first round of auditions will be via remote recording. Further reads may be requested, either remotely or in person.
Please submit a resume and recording of the provided side before April 22nd at midnight. Recordings do not need to be of professional quality- we just need to be able to hear your acting. You may choose to read sides alone or with a reader. Please slate all recordings with your full name and the role you are reading for.
At this time, we are only considering actors who are available to record in person in Chicago. Additionally, we are only considering Spanish-speaking actors of South American heritage or descent.

About the production process:
This role will reoccur in future seasons of The Harbingers. Recordings will take place in the Rogers Park area of Chicago. All roles will be paid at $25/hr for both rehearsal and recording. This is a non-SAG production.

Miguel Ravenna was an academic celebrity in his home country of Argentina, famous for his viral presence on social media, his articulate championing and hands-on leadership for leftist political causes, and his kind, attentive presence. Beneath the surface, he was a considerably more complicated man than most people realized, a young man haunted by demons from his past who had specifically turned to academia to find a measure of salvation.
Now, however, he finds himself thrust into a bigger, more public stage than anything he’s ever faced before. As various forces turn him into a pawn in a complicated game of international intrigue, fame, and influence, Miguel does everything he can to hold fast to his beliefs and his morals. But every man has his breaking point, and sooner or later the troubled young man who was once on the brink of destruction may muscle his way back to the surface.
